PinShack.com was founded in the summer of 2002 by Brian Groce as an avenue for pin collectors’ to buy, sell, and trade pins online. The development of PinShack.com was started in June 2002 and was officially launched in August 2002. PinShack took a hiatus in 2006 and was relaunched in April 2007 as a member of the Surge Bucket Media network.
